Women’s Collective Ireland are recruiting for the following position:
WCI Development Worker Donegal – 1 Year Fixed Term Contract (21 hours per week)
This position offers an opportunity to work in a long-established feminist community development project that supports women’s equality.
Employed by the WCI Board of Management, the Development Worker is responsible for the engagement in community development work within WCI Donegal and to support development, capacity building, training, and networking of women in the local area.
The successful candidate will have:
– A minimum of 2 years’ experience working within the community sector.
– Excellent communication skills.
– An understanding of grassroots feminism.
– The ability to outreach and engage with women in the local area.
– The ability to identify the relevant training, supports and needs of women in the area.
– The ability to assist with the planning and delivery of relevant programmes within WCI Donegal.
– Excellent communication skills.
– The ability to Network with other community organisations, to support women’s participation.
– The ability to work as part of a team.

The salary for the post is based on the starting point of WCI Salary Scale – €31,217 (pro rata)
