WCI Come Together on Shared Learning

Updated: Dec 3

WCI staff throughout Ireland came together online

Women's Collective Ireland is represented through their 17 projects all over Ireland.

With our widespread community development goals and values, it can be hard to come together as one. Our Shared Learning is a space that allows the staff of Women's Collective Ireland to come together online to connect as an organisation, and share our success stories with one another.

Once a month, WCI comes together in a space called “Sharing Learning”. This space provides us with the opportunity to share something that has worked well within a Project, inspiring us all to bring something new to our local Projects for the benefit of the women we work with. Recent Shared Learnings include:

  • WCI Blayney Blades on the launch of the Peace Heroines Exhibition

  • WCI Waterford on their unlocking potential with an apprenticeship programme

  • WCI Ronanstown on National Voter Registration Day.

This is all possible thanks to WCI's National Programme Coordinator Vivienne Glanville, who carefully coordinates the meeting each and every month, allowing each of the Projects to present their achievements as a collective.
