Would you like to make a difference in your community but are unsure where to start? Join WCI Limerick for an empowering event designed to prepare women to step into the world of collective action and local politics. This is your chance to connect with like-minded individuals, learn from inspiring leaders, and gain the tools and confidence needed to advocate for change. Whether you're passionate about social justice, education, healthcare, or any other issue, this event will provide you with the knowledge and support to amplify your voice.
‘Making Sense of Political Nonsense’ promises to create a welcoming environment for women to learn more about how our local council and political systems work, in easy and accessible language. The event will feature experts in the field of political, and allow for plenty of time for audience interaction, questions, and answers.
This is your opportunity to ask the Who? How? What? and Why? about Irish politics. Outside of experts in the field, the event will also include one dedicated speaker who is set to give information on navigating the Irish political system from a migrant perspective.
‘Making Sense of Political Nonsense’ takes place on:
Date - Wednesday, April 9th.
Time - 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Location - Absolute Hotel, Limerick (as part of the Limerick Lifelong Learning Festival).
Places for this event are limited and registration is essential. For more information on how to book a place, please contact WCI Limerick via email at limerick@womenscollective.ie or call 087 328 3746.
Together, we can build a stronger, more inclusive community where every woman has the opportunity to build up confidence and thrive.
