Women's Collective Ireland is looking to hire a Coordinator for WCI Clare
Women's Collective Ireland is now recruiting for the position of Coordinator! The position requires the candidate to work 28 hours per week, and the successful applicant will be based in the WCI Clare office on Clon Road Business Park, Ennis, Co. Clare, V95 R8YT.
Employed by the WCI Board of Management, WCI invites applications from suitably qualified, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individuals for the position of Coordinator in the WCI Clare project. The WCI Clare Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day running, management, and development of WCI Clare. The coordinator will implement the aims, objectives, and agreed areas of work outlined in the Strategic Plan (available to read in our publications page) in line with WCI National Work Plans, working in partnership with the other WCI Projects to support disadvantaged women’s empowerment and advance equality.
The successful candidate will have:
A relevant third-level qualification or equivalent
A minimum of 3 years experience in community development coordination which includes working with women's groups and related issues
Strong staff management experience
Experience in collaborating with diverse stakeholders and relating to diverse groups and individuals including conflict management
An understanding of grassroots feminism and the ability to use a community development approach, be a reflective practitioner, and to operate from feminist principles
Excellent communication, coordination, and report writing skills
The ability to motivate people and relate to diverse groups and individuals including conflict management.

The salary for the post is based on Point 1 - €40,285 or Point 2 - €41,956 (Pro-rata), of the WCI Coordinator Salary Scale, dependent on previous experience.
