WCI Limerick are hiring!

Women's Collective Ireland are recruiting for the following position:

WCI Limerick Development Worker, Part-Time, 21 hours per week, based in WCI Limerick Office 28 John's Street, Limerick.


This position offers an opportunity to work in a feminist community development project that supports women's equality and women's well-being.


Employed by the WCI Board of Management, the Development Worker is responsible for the engagement in community development work within WC Limerick and to facilitate and support development, well-being, training, and networking of women in the local area.


The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience community development working within the community sector.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Excellent facilitation skills.

  • An understanding of grassroots feminism.

  • The ability to outreach and engage with women in the local area.

  • The ability to identify the relevant training, supports and needs of women in the area.

  • The ability to assist with the planning, promoting and the delivery of relevant programmes within WCI Limerick.

  • The ability to network with other community organisations to support women's participation.

  • The ability to work as part of a team.
