Great things happen when we come together!
Women’s Collective Ireland recently enjoyed an organisation-wide gathering, which included staff, the Board of Directors, and our Patron, Ailbhe Smyth.
Organised by WCI’s National Programme Coordinator, Vivienne Glanville, alongside Eithe Dunne, WCI’s National Development Officer; the gathering allowed staff to meet with one another again before the Christmas break. Designed to allow staff to connect, a ‘speed connection’ event was organised throughout the day, giving all staff ample opportunity to get to know one another better as colleagues.
Gatherings and events such as this are vital to organisation such as ours, with a total of 17 community development projects located throughout Ireland. In-person gatherings support colleagues to build a greater connection with one another, past your everyday email.
WCI is grateful to have such an amazing patron such as Ailhbe Smyth, who welcomes supporting the 17 CDPs wherever possible, and who always makes the time for an in-person appearance at events such as this.
Special thanks to WCI Limerick’s Development Worker, Katla, who captured authentic connections throughout the day.
