Women’s Collective Ireland – Liffey Valley

Mission

Women’s Collective Ireland – Liffey Valley (formerly Rowlagh Women’s Group) is a community based network of local women. We aim to foster social inclusion and empower women in the local community.

WCI – Liffey Valley aims to:

  • Provide a social and educational outlet for women in the area
  • Create awareness of the power women have in changing social and educational policy
  • Give women an opportunity to decide for themselves what it is they want.

Objectives of WCI – Liffey Valley:

  • We ensure that the work, time and effort women put in to providing and attending courses is essential and worthwhile
  • We want women to know they are wanted and important
  • We are open and friendly with everybody, we respect diversity and we are open to differing opinions
  • We want to help women improve the quality of their lives, and their families
  • We want to increase women’s confidence in their own abilities
