On Tuesday, January 24th at 7pm WCI Limerick will host a Women and Politics – ask the experts online panel discussion with experts in the field of politics, campaigning, running for election, council structures and more.

This will be a place where women interested in running for election or getting more involved in politics or campaigning can ask their panel of experts any questions they have. If you would like to submit a question for the panel in advance of the event, please send it to limerick@womenscollective.ie.

On Tuesday, January 31st from 12:30pm – 2:30pm we will begin Fitness Walking for Women (10 weeks) meeting at our office on 28 John Street. Dates are: All dates: January: 31st, February: 7th, 21st, 28th, March: 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, April: 18th, 25th.

This course is open to women of all fitness levels. Proper walking / running shoes with support must be worn at all times. There will also be time to speak with the tutor and go over any queries you might have on the first day.

This February WCI Limerick will start the first of three (5 week) Women’s Digital Technology Courses we plan to run in 2023. This round will begin on Thursday, February 2nd, 10am – 12pm in our office on 28 John Street, Limerick.

This course is designed for women who are looking to get back to employment or further education and would benefit from digital technology upskilling. The course will include: setting up an email account, sending emails, using Zoom, using Word or Google Doc and creating an up-to-date C.V. The course also includes one hour mentoring with the tutor on C.V development and next steps.

Places for this course are limited and registration as always is essential.
